Greetings,

Here's a great opportunity for teens to be involved in the grant making
process. Please spread the word to any young people who might be interested
in having a voice in deciding what teen-led projects will receive $10,000
grants. The following message describes the opportunity and includes copy
to use in emails or post on the web for teens involved in your
organizations.

Re: The Best Buy(r) @15(tm) Challenge with Youth Venture

The @15 Challenge is helping teens change the world.

After viewing a video at their school and learning that 6,000 children
in developing countries die each day due to drinking contaminated water
Jane, Noelle, Melia and Julie from Merrimack, New Hampshire wanted to do
something about it. So they started Pure Water Vending. The girls' idea
was to sell water through vending machines and donate the profits raised
to purchase and install sand filters in remote villages. As of November
2008, they've sold 870 water bottles and forwarded their first donation
of $600 to Pure Water for the World enough to buy eight filters. Funds
from the Best Buy @15 Challenge would help them raise more money by
expanding their enterprise through the purchase of four to five
additional vending machines.

The girls from New Hampshire are one of 30 teams of teens who are
competing this month as finalists in the Best Buy @15 Challenge. Best
Buy has partnered with Youth Venture to sponsor the challenge which will
provide $10,000 to 15 existing teen-created and teen-led social
ventures. The money will be used to expand and sustain their current
efforts.

Please help us promote this unique opportunity for teens to decide which
teen initiatives receive funding by using the following copy for an
