On Friday, January 30, at 1PM, the Upper Bucks Healthy
Communities Healthy Youth Coalition will be featured during
a one hour SAMHSA sponsored webinar on social norms
marketing.  The Upper Bucks HCHY Coalition will also share
information about how they use the Search Institute survey
to comply with the federal Drug Free Communities Support
Program requirement to measure the four core measures
related to substance use and perceptions.  

Social Norms Marketing, a cutting-edge strategy aimed to 
change youth perceptions about healthy behavior for
themselves and their 
peers. Hear about the theory and application behind this new
approach 
from two national trainers and experts, (Jim Campian and
Scoot Crandall 
from Actuality- Team Fort Collins, CO
www.teamfortcollins.org). Jim and Scoot have worked in 50
schools and communities in past two and 
half years providing training, TA and helping them with the 
implementation of campaigns. 

-Learn about the theory of social Norms Marketing, the Six
phases of a 
campaign -Be ready and able to answer "YES" to the Four
cornerstone 
questions of Readiness as you plan for your campaign. Learn
about the 
variety of targeted behaviors that utilize this strategy. 

Hear as well from two coalition leaders (Lee Rush and Ray
Fox- Upper 
Bucks Healthy Communities Healthy Youth Coalition from
Quakertown, PA
