New Positive Youth Development Blog for Youth Workers

As part of a grant from OJJDP, the YMCA Center for Asset Development
has launched a new blog for Youth Workers at
www.TheAssetEdge.blogspot.com.

The blog highlights best practices in youth work and spotlights
various programs that are successfully nurturing healthy youth and
healthy communities. Stories include connections back to the 40
Developmental Assets, so readers can recognize the connection to
research-based best practices.

The youth development experts share practical tools for positive youth
development, including topics such as character, service-learning,
teambuilding, leadership, creativity and personal balance.  They also
share about youth-related grants, awards, scholarships.
